Accessibility

Plucky Works is committed to making this website and our newsroom tools usable by everyone, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader or other assistive technology, or rely on high-contrast or larger text.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, on pluckyworks.org and in Wire, Inbox, Calendar, and Assignments. We run automated accessibility tests as we build our tools and are learning how to supplement them with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing. We also favor simple, proven web patterns (including semantic HTML, server-rendered content, and standard navigation links) because they offer more reliable compatibility with keyboards, screen readers, and other assistive technology.

Our progress

We are working with publicly funded customers to improve accessibility in phases, starting with Plucky Wire. We expect to roll out changes that make all of our tools more accessible in 2027.

Report a barrier

If anything on our website or in our tools is hard to use, please tell us. Let us know the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using.

Accessibility contact: accessibility@pluckyworks.org

We aim to respond to accessibility reports within five business days.
